Every year, new Australian book for youth are judged in several categories for their literary merit and suitability for junior students. Prizes to the authors are awarded in several categories. Wonthaggi Secondary College Dudley Campus promotes awareness of these award winning books by making special presentations in the library during English classes and inviting students to read these books.
Last thursday, our year 7 students were able to experience an entire day celebrating indigenous culture through various activities throughout the day.

Last Friday, the students of Wonthaggi Secondary College took part in our annual Cross Country Run. The entire school took part in the event that occured near the end of the school day, you can even see a few teachers test themselves against some of our students.
Last week, the Wonthaggi Secondary College Junior Campus celebrated Asia Week. Many activities were held including a special Taiko Drum show where many of our students got involved and became Taiko Drum Masters themselves!
